My Wellness Group Service is a 9 week program composed of 5-10 people who meet with me on a weekly basis via a virtual video platform to discuss wellness topics and receive coaching.
Every week, the Wellness Group explores new educational material built around Dialectical Behavioral and Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic principles. This material helps us look at our health holistically. We go through every important aspect of well-living: Mental Health, Physical Health, Financial Health, Relationships, Work Life Balance, Negotiating Our Value, Finding and Keeping Friends, and Building and Obtaining Life Goals.
During the group discussions, participants are encouraged to share their own connections and stories with the material. The group model allows for validation and insights on how to overcome our biggest barriers.
Common goals for participants of the Wellness Group Program include how to achieve financial independence, retire early, find value for yourself, live a fulfilled and balanced life, find career happiness, and build meaningful and engaging relationships/friendships.
The Wellness Group Program runs 3 times a year for 9 weeks each. Each of these programs will focus on a new section of mental health. The sections are Wellness Across a Lifetime, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Each group section will begin with a lesson on Mindfulness to create a solid foundational understanding of the cornerstone of mental health. Then, we will dive into topics related to the section theme (see breakdown below) for 90 minutes sessions on a weekly basis. During these sessions, we will learn about the topic of the week, review homework from the previous lesson, and discuss how what we are learning applies to our personal circumstances.
You may join the program for one section or for every section, depending on your interests.
